Marco graduated from the University of Bologna in 2015 and has been working in small animal practice ever since. Over the course of his career, he has worked in different parts of the UK, gaining a broad range of experience in both first opinion and surgical cases. He joined Unicorn Veterinary Centre in 2023 and has a particular interest in surgery, especially soft tissue procedures. He enjoys the hands-on and detail-oriented nature of surgery and is committed to achieving the best possible outcome for each patient. Marco understands how important pets are as family members and believes that clear communication and compassion are just as important as clinical expertise. He takes pride in making sure owners feel informed, reassured and involved in decisions about their pet’s care.
At home, Marco has a rescue dog called Philip, who keeps him busy and constantly reminds him why he chose this profession. Outside of work, he enjoys running, strength training and keeping up to date with the latest technology.
